This project was created for Zom6ii, a Philly-based artist whose sound lives somewhere between grunge and a daydream. Her music has a raw, alternative energy, but underneath, there’s something soft and emotional.
I wanted the visuals to capture that contrast. I started with watercolor scans to bring in a handmade, unpredictable, but delicate feel. I layered the scans with high-contrast images to create a sharper, bolder tone. The two textures together mirrors her music: softness colliding with bold emotion.
