Fabien Baron: The Art of White Space

Exhibition Branding

This project is inspired by Fabien Baron’s use of white space, clean layouts, and refined typography. I focused on capturing the feeling of his work rather than directly taking from it.
My approach was to use open spacing, simple but intentional type choices, and layouts that feel calm, minimal, and structured. I divided the exhibition by Barons three most prominent ways of creating: photography, packaging and magazine spreads. I kept everything cohesive across the way-finding, branding, catalog spreads, and digital layouts, by sticking to a sleek, editorial tone.

Catalog Design

For the catalog design, I looked directly at Barons spreads for inspiration. He does a lot of full page images so I tried to mimic that while still using my own style. I layered the photos on top of each other to give a chic effect, which relayed into the rest of the brand.
