The Art of Record Digging
The podcast I chose to work with for this project went in depth with Alexis Charpentier's process of collecting and rediscovering lost records. Charpentier finds lost records, interviews the artists, and gives a second life to the music. To make the spreads feel alive and expressive, I broke up and staggered the text and edited the photos with a duotone effect. It was important to me that the photos communicate successfully with the typography and design. I explored deep into InDesign and how to print documents with this project.
